Two days left of spring, and the sun has arrived in time for the Whitsun bank holiday. Proper water-the-houseplants-again, get-the-pellies-outside kind of sun; the houseplants are about to be attended to after a day away from home, and the pelargoniums... well, some of them are already out, and others – mostly recent arrivals from the wonderful folk at Fibrex – are in the process of deciding whether or not they’d prefer a life permanently behind glass. But what the sun is really saying to me is this – No May May is almost done, and get those hedge-trimmer batteries charged.
