Day 266: Blue daisy bush

A blue daisy with a variegated leaf? Yes please. I love being introduced to new plants, and so it was with no small degree of delight that I found Felicia amelloides ‘Variegata’ in a stone trough when visiting the gardens at Sissinghurst Castle at the weekend. That shade of blue against a green and cream leaf seems such a rare combination, I’m going to have to invite this little, long flowering South African character into my own garden, where it can relieve the hardworking Mexican fleebane (Day 170, Erigeron karvinskianus) from some of the cheery daisy duties. I just need to track it down...
