Daily details from the garden to bring you inspiration throughout the year
This is not ancient woodland – this is the deer park surrounding a historic house, and the collection of majestic trees is similarly noble. No scrappy understory here, though the odd opportunist makes its presence felt in the collection of leaves on the floor, pale golden birch standing out from the mix of sweet chestnut, beech and oak. Here are greys and reds, tans, deep chocolate browns, scalloped edges, herringbone patterns, tweedy greens and charcoal greys – one wonders whether a fashion designer would ever need look anywhere other than the floor beneath the trees in November.
A year of garden coaching
I’m very excited about my new venture – it’s a way for me to work with more people than I can physically get around to, helping them to make the very best of their gardens in a way that suits the life they lead. If you’d like to find out more, please click here to book for a January 2020 start.
